With my 171lb body compared to my 215lb body last year, I've been doing stand-up comedy, making You Tube vids about my cats, and now, it's just about time to go back to school.
Fortunately for me, I'm only taking one class involving math this semester. I'm also taking two seminars, one in leadership, and the other in management. For those interested, The Lucifer Effect is one of the books considered "Required Reading" for this MBA class. I've alread read about 20 pages and it's very interesting.
Check it out if you are interested in psychology and how good people can turn evil.

How is everyone?
All, I hope all are doing well on their HCG journey. I know that losing the 45lbs has enabled me to go on to do things that I really enjoy like stand-up comedy. I'd have never felt confident enough to get on stage without losing the weight. It's been over a year now and today I weigh 171.8lbs. Remember that a year ago I had just went from 215lbs to 180 something. So, that's your word of encouragement for the day.
Now for some shameless self-promotion.
I invite you to check out my comedy blog at http://www.laughatbrian.blogspot.com/ and my new YouTube Comedy channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/LaBToday. Or, you can do a search on Facebook for Laugh at Brian http://www.facebook.com/pages/Laugh-at-Brian/147067085308434?v=app_4949752878. You can click on the "Laugh at B" tab and watch my videos on YouTube without leaving Facebook. Be sure to click "like" either on my blog or on Facebook if you in fact like what you hear/see.
Thank you all so much for the support you've shown.

Hello all
Hello all. I've been getting many new subscribers and more questions. I'm going to attempt to answer the most popular ones.
Q. Where do you get your HCG?
A. I was getting it from Southern Utah Laser Aesthetic clinic. I moved from Las Vegas to Reno so now I probably wouldn't go there due to the distance.
Q. How much did it cost?
A. It was right around $260/round
Q. How much do you weigh now/did you keep it off?
A. Just like any "diet" you have to maintain it yourself. I have gained and lost since just from regular patterns of eating and excercising. Today I weigh 178lbs.
Q. How long did you take your phentermine for?
A. I took it for about three days. Then my chest started hurting for no reason and I stopped. I didn't need them at all.
Q. Where did you get the B-12?
A. I got all of my supplies from the clinic mentioned above.
Q. Was it difficult?
A. Yes and no. It's difficult to watch your friends and family eat and drink everything you would want. It's not so difficult to see that you lost 2lbs the next day.
Q. Are you going to do it again?
A. Probably not. It worked great for losing weight quickly but I'm comfortable with myself now. I'm still a little heavy (I should probably be around 150lbs really at 5' 7") but I'm happy with me, my wife says she's happy with me, so that's good enough.
I also want to say that I'm probably going to shift the mode of this blog to just general life stuff. I've given up just about all of the HCG info that I have. I'm too busy enjoying my life to worry about this dieting stuff too much.
Life is for living. Just make sure that your living doesn't shorten your life. If you want a glass of wine (when you're not on HCG) have one. If you love to have a cheese plate, fricken' have one. But then, you know, take a jog, go lift weights or swim. Walk, do something.
HCG is not the answer, it's just the boost one can use to make a decision to change their eating lifestyle.

About Me
- Brian W.
- I've tried just about every diet a guy can think about. I've tried Belly-Off from Men's Health, Body for Life by Bill Phillips, P90X (Holy Crap!), The Testosterone Diet, and just starving myself. Nothing worked even remotely close to Dr. Simeon's HCG Protocal. Now, for those of us who have completed the protocol, there is a new challenge, how do we eat now? Well, I don't have the answers, but I do know that I like to eat whole foods and I know that they can be easier to make than we think possible. This blog will feature recipes as well as just random sharing.
